The very next on my list would be an affordable vintage Speedmaster Moonwatch with some patina. So for me that means nice yellow tritium hour markers. Currently I have an eye on the Apollo XI unnumbered edition so I also could see the yellow 863 caliber 馃グ

A good vintage Speedmaster is always a good way to go. Good luck with your search

This year I hope to get a speedmaster. I told myself no other watch purchases till then. Just save money and wait for the right one to come around. No rushing it. I did pretty good at my goals last year but I'm off to a bad start since I bought something else this morning lol. But nothing else from here on out! I actually should find new homes for a few.

Just like @Virmonk this year I鈥檓 on a hunt on a Speedmaster Professional specific model 3590.50 - the last one having tritium lume. I鈥檓 saving money and waiting for a good example, but it鈥檚 always hard to resist when something else comes around, just like the Rolex Datejust with a Buckley dial last year. So I promised myself this year - just one, but exactly THAT.

I have to ask, what did you buy ?

Nothing fancy. I saw a bulova accutron ii on ebay for a good price and I've been on the fence for a while so I just went for it. I had been saving for a bronze glycine and finally got one for less than I had budgeted so I had extra watch money. But I need to start saving now if I'm ever going to get that speedy. Oh and the glycine came in today! Wasn't expecting it on Sunday so it was a plesent surprise. Pic of it on wrist and also a pic of the accutron i found online.

I'm on a similar hunt. I think I'll finally nab a speedy this year. But, my wife is currently applying to go back to grad school, so I'm waiting to see how bad the tuition bills end up being.

Also waiting for Snoopy 3. Would be great if it arrives sooner rather than later, but I鈥檓 fine waiting patiently if otherwise.

I have my eyes on a PO. 2500 - 42mm. I love that watch.

(not my photo obviously, but damn, I love that watch.)

I need to sell a few first though. I have a Chronostop, a Prebond, a '73 Tissot Seastar Navigator, a Tissot Gentleman Powermatic & an Exactus branded Landeron 48 chrono. My watch money is tied up in them, but this year I plan to turn them into that sweet, sweet PO.

New Year and renewed hope for a better future.
Starting by considering an additional Omega for your collection. What鈥檚 on your list ?

I just got it on 12/30/20 ----> VApRao.jpg

What about your good self @Capcom, any plans for your next piece?

Thanks for asking. I鈥檇 like to see what Omega has planned for this year but I鈥檓 always interested in a nice vintage piece.

I am really hoping to get a modern seamaster. When I say modern I mean 90鈥檚 or newer. Unfortunately I don鈥檛 have anywhere local to try one on. It may happen, it鈥檚 kinda the omega I鈥檇 really like to obtain but I鈥檓 leaving open a couple other possibilities only because I can try them on much easier. If I end up with a seamaster I will be pleased, if not I will end up with something nice.

Strange how life keeps getting on the way of watch collecting 馃
