The only dealbreaker I have is the aluminium bezel. I'm fine with an aluminium bezel, but not at that price. You're paying a lot for a watch with an aluminium bezel. They went a few steps forward with the titanium, but took some steps backwards with the aluminium bezel.
Personally, I do tend to prefer the look of aluminium to ceramic, but certainly take your point about the price.

Someone offered me a good deal for the Spectre Seamaster 300 that I've been wanting which has noticeably risen in value since 2015. He is offering me the watch for $1000 less than the NTTD titanium watch and in all honesty, i think it looks better than the titanium watch. And the boxed set it comes with is just better too with the additional bracelet etc. A no brainer for me.

Sure - that’s a good shout. I like the new one but the lume looks quite faux next to the spectre. I’d take a two tone Seamaster on bracelet for the same price I think.

IMHO the NTTD Omega looks better. It’s the lyre lugs that win. Cannot stand the straight lugs on the master 300

I really like this new Bond Seamaster. 3 things are still deterterants for me:
1) price
2) the persistence of the He valve (imagine if they would have deleted it for this model...WOW!)
3) I prefer a regular bracelet with end links, but the new SMP’s don’t have an non-Bond option and I still think the 5-link pattern is still too dressy for my taste....so I’d be stuck with the mesh bracelet.

With regards to the price, i wonder what are the chances of the price dropping in the resale market once the movie hype dies down since it isn't a limited edition...

I’m looking forward to seeing how I like the bracelet, though I expect I’ll end up wearing it on a NATO most of the time.

I’m generally not a Seamaster 300M person but one thing I do like about them and the PO is the HE valve - it gives it a distinct look that keeps it from being just another anonymous diver. Maybe I won’t like it on my wrist though, we’ll see

I think it will be trading at a lot less than rrp quite soon after the hype has died down.

Having in mind what the price level is I would say there is a chance of 90% for that prophecy to become reality.

One of the reasons I sold my (non Bond LE) 300 Master Coaxial... it's a good looking watch but I'm with you on the lyre lugs - they win, in my book.

Is that actually the only Bond watch that has been introduced? Or are there two of them?

There are three depending on your perspective - this one, tied to the upcoming movie; one for the 50th anniversary of “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service;” and that limited platinum one for the Nordstrom Aston Martin

Actually, add another 2 (total 5) if you add the 2 piece OHMSS box set with the steel version and gold version, no dates....

I guess now we know who is wearing the nato strap variant of the watch....
Nice catch! Looks to be smaller than 42mm though?

Nah it's 42. Angle of the shot probably makes it look small..

This is the first omega that I think is overpriced. It looks great, but there are a million other vintage divers out there like that. I'd take my longines legendary diver any day

Really??...not the $49,000 "ultra light" AT? That thing is a joke
