Note: Collins watch delivered December 6th 1968. Note: SEB121100039-002. And or 001. Why?? All you have to do is look at the front dial. Non professional 001 and professional 002. “SEBY” in fact some of the watches were hand engraved. Not by NASA,but Morris in New York. They did the calibrations and were the only ones to open the watches.

"Morley contacted the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and NASA directly and both took the matter very seriously. Morley also began a legal dispute for its ownership and in turn, NASA arranged for an expert opinion report to verify its authenticity. It was determined one year later, that Morley’s Speedmaster was not the original Moonwatch. Buzz Aldrin and the United States also publicly confirmed that it was not authentic."

I'm hoping there's an OF member who's with the FBI. This person could PM Morley and offer him $5 million for the watch. If he has the watch (.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 probability) he can be arrested. If he doesn't have the watch---well, of course he doesn't have the watch.
t went to Morris in New York the same day. Aldrin was a back up pilot for Apollo 8, It would make sense to have it calibrated with S/N 63 December 2, 1968. (Thread included) Collins watch was shipped a week later. The fact that S/N 43 is an earlier number as per batch is in consistent and up for debate, although there are others that are as well. My watch is in fact hand engraved with “S/N 43 SEBY” on the case. Jim Regan from (NASA) claimed that NASA never hand engraved the watches. I sure he’s correct although a few were hand engraved for NASA by Morris for NASA. Due to timerestraints, it would make sense that thiswatch would have been done by Morris. Jim Regan (NASA) did state that they had haveMorris do things for them. In earlier Omegaarchives states that they only knew of firstmoon landing watches, and the otherwatches they had no way of knowing whichwatch was used for which mission.

Two diametrically, discordant statements …How do you reconcile them ?

All your statements, skirt around the outer perimeters of provable veracity, in relation to your actual watch

“a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.”

Macbeth: Willian Shakespeare

So… Put up…or shut up ?

methinks the emperor has no clothes
NASA Never hand engraved or opened the watches. The watches were engraved in Houston(stamped) NASA received and shipped the watches back and forth to Morris in New York to Open and service/ calibrate. According to the Smithsonian and Omega a few watch were hand engraved. Jim Regan was in charge of this procedure. In deposition he stated that NASA never hand engraved them. (Contrary) to the fact that Morris did hand engraved a few. This was not clarified in the deposition.

@Steve Morley I would appreciate it if you would stop these shenanigans by either posting the friggin' pictures of the watch or stop posting. My email cannot handle the influx of notifications from OF that I generally open with interest only to see you posted some words that have no meaning behind them without proof. Just about everyone who is able to verify your claims has asked politely for photos and you have yet to oblige them and the rest of us.

Piss or get off the pot. Please.

@Steve Morley

So you have a hand engraved watch, that both NASA and Omega say is not the watch. As someone that has detailed pictures of all the NASA watches I’d be curious to see a picture of yours.

I’m also curious as to your theory as to why they don’t want your watch? Since your supposition is based on them knowing it’s the real watch.

I keep on thinking that this thread is going to become interesting, with pictures and all. But it never does!

Was more of a figure of speech. I know how to turn stuff off, but thanks for the refresher course ha ha ha. Hope the circle and arrow didn't take too long to draw. Apparently took less time than to post a photo of a watch, cough cough @Steve Morley.

This guy is all over the watch forums and keeps popping up over the years claiming he has the watch but never follows up with anything other than more nonsense. He's delusional, we have all come across people who seem to live in some fantasy world. Just ignore him.

Wait a sec... 145.012? Aldrin's watch was a 105.012.

End of the story

Pictures?

Also please explain why both NASA and Omega say it’s not the piece? If it was they would clearly be trying to source it?

Your picking and choosing data. You only accept data the out of context supports your claim, while ignoring the mountains of data that show your piece is not a NASA issued piece.

Photographs of Buzz’s watch exist before your delivery date.

So... You quote me and do not follow what is in the quote. You sir earn the prestigious title of Idiot of the Month in my book. Enjoy the last 11 days of your title. I'll check back in on the 1st and see if you can go two months in a row. No one has ever done that before so you may have a record coming to you.
