    I'm not lucky enough to own one. But I do have a late 69 early 70 Mark II.

    Well, the Speedmaster experts on OF are all about the pedantic details and the 145.022-69 reference was made for at least two years.. I guarantee that if someone said he was looking for a 1969 birthyear Speedmaster, members would be talking about a specific serial number range of 145.012-68 or 145.022-69 references, and urging the buyer to purchase an Extract to determine the delivery date. :D

    Very few watches can claim a 50+ year run with essentially the same look and technology. All of the moonwatches share the same DNA, and a strong DNA link at that.
