That's double what I paid for my 145.022-69 SW including service in December 2015 馃槻.

My watchmaker is retiring next year... I'll pay him a visit then and make sure to ask if he has some "old" bezels laying around 馃槜.

Congrats to Seller and Buyer on this deal. Looking forward to the sellers story attached to that bezel.

Really nice, vintage Speedmasters are now beginning to find their proper place. Thankfully I was able to buy my '68 Transitional, with a very similar bezel, before prices took such a serious hike.

I bought a 105.003-63 last year for that price. It had some issues but all are corrected now and it didn't take much. 馃榿

Haha. It may simply be easier for me to fly to London and pick it up in person. [emoji3]

Cant help thinking we are entering the point where indistinguishable fake bezels will appear, in which case would it be better if Omega made replacement DON bezels, not sure personally but worth debate? Presuming that they are still making 321 parts and therefore if so why not bezels?馃

I am happy to finally share with you all a few pics that I think you have been waiting for. A big thanks to Lev for his support with the sale and a lot of hassle getting things finally worked out with eBay and PayPal to get this deal done. I was also able to coordinate with a friend to help get this thing shipped to Japan saving me quite a bit on shipping, insurance and tax!! I naively took the bezel to Omega to see if they would change out the bezel for me but, not surprisingly, they refused. So, I ended up taking it over to the place that serviced the watch for me and they did it for a reasonable fee.

I will certainly be very careful with this watch when I do wear it to try to keep it in great condition but it will certainly not be a safe queen. I generally keep it in rotation with a few watches so it should be good to enjoy. Will try to get some better pictures soon. In the meantime....

no, there seems to be some issue with the Global Shipping Program. Seller is trying to work it out with Customer Service. Anyone have any experience with this?

Have never had any issues with GSP, but normally I'd just deal with the international shipping myself.

I'm happy it finally got there, and that it's already on your watch. Looks amazing! I'm happy it ended up in a good new home & in loving hands (and not in a safe!).
Congratulations, wear in good health!
Now that I see how amazing condition the rest of the watch is in, the need for a matching condition DON is self-explanatory.

If this bezel could tell stories, it would probably tell that it's been through more adventures in the past two months, than the rest 99.5% of its life 馃榾

BTW, I was finally approved by ParcelPro last week (yes, took more than a month to register!), so no more eBay GSP.. happy times!
