With the release of the new Speedy 3861, new DON bezels will be a lot more common. But one thing that always sticks out to me is the dot above 275:



It's one of the easiest ways to distinguish an old DON with the new, and if the new DON bezels can swap over to previous Speedies. The old DON bezels had the dot righ in between the 300 and the 275, where the dot hovered over the 2 in the 275. Newer dot next-to-90 bezels changed this, and the dot is closer to the 300, even seen in the newer DON bezels.

I'm wondering whether that will be one of the key distinguishing features to delineate the two, and consequently, desirability of the bezel?

 

These two sentences would have been clearer if you had made them into a single sentence, omitted all punctuation, and spelled it with clippings of from newspapers and magazines.
