Again, shill bidding is over-estimated. Automatic bids are not shown by default. If you click on "show automatic bids," you'll see that there were 44 "real" bids and 22 automatic bids. It's just not possible to loom at a bidding pattern like this and say that shills were involved.

I looked through and watched them. The price seemed to bid normally up until a certain point, and then it was dominated by a 0-time bidder and a 1-time bidder. Looks like the 0-bidder was a real person who needed the bezel though -- congrats, it looks great!

yes, and thanks. I have been waiting for a near perfect example for my transitional and this has been the best I have seen. Sorry to have priced these to a new level but I needed that bezel.

Wow. It wasn't just a new high. It was WAY higher than the next most expensive. With regard to shill bidding, automatic bids or not, when two of the steady highest bidders have a zero or 1 feedback rating and bidding thousands of dollars, I say there is a high probability of shill bidding. I'm glad it wasn't the case in this auction.

And to the winner, I wouldn't recommend making that bezel a daily wear item. If it gets dinged a few times, you might be very sad.

no, there seems to be some issue with the Global Shipping Program. Seller is trying to work it out with Customer Service. Anyone have any experience with this?

 

I guess the seller had TWO perfect DON bezels.

So, on the newly established scale, this bezel should be worth approximately 50 percent of 4k usd since it has about 50 percent of it's paint, right? So 2k usd? Seems logical.
