Its nearly 100% authentic IMO, and the price is in line with other comparable watches. If you dont want it pass it on to me 馃榾

I will only see the watch in real beginning of November, so I have plenty of time to decide. That being said I don't think I would separate the watch from its original bracelet. It is rare to find an Ed white with its original bracelet.
Thanks for your insights.

Well I'd say it's not a steal, but neither is it a rip off. You just need to decide if you want it...

From what I have seen, -65's can have some dodgy looking lume that while causing many of us to question it, the history would indicate it is from the factory. I have seen it so many times and in just this reference, I would be ready to accept it.

The bracelet is, as others say, a bonus and probably correct.

The missing anti-mag cover is a worry and the dial should be checked for wobble damage.

I think it's a $10k watch easily today. If it has a sympathetic service and a period AM cover, and an extract, it would be compared favorably with watches selling for $15k.

My hunch is that despite the missing inner cover, it is a relatively honest watch. For this buyers on the open market will pay a premium.

What I would be concerned about is that this dial may not be the most attractive when compared to other ed whites. I say this because experience with -65's. it's the wobbly lume and possibly the body color, but I would have to have them side by side with a known good one.

That last paragraph is me getting waaay to ethereal....thinking too much. This watch is a definite buy.

The number 6 end links alone are probably worth $2K, bracelet $1K, so you're really only paying 7K for the watch. Easily a buy from a pure dollar perspective.

The real decision is how that dial looks to you in the real. That's what you'll be looking at every day.

Well, yesterday I finally had a look at the watch...
And I like it very much. The lumes are original from the way they glow faintly and match the hands' lume. The lumes are still lively compared to many dark ones I have seen. For me the fact that the hands have the same color as the dial's lume is important. The case is really nice with no dings and not repolished. The hyppocampus on the case back is still nice and clear, gently used. I like the fact that all angles are still present, gently used. The watch was bought in an auction 4 months ago.
The good news is that the anti-magnetic cap is present, it was a misunderstanding due to language problems.
The bracelet has 7 or 8 strech links from what I recall. The watch was serviced in the meantime and the mvt is nice and crisp with no stains.
The seller and I are now in negotiations, tne seller is reliable and nice to deal with.
I hope next episode will be with pics...
Thanks for your help and support.

I am a bit stressed because the process is getting near the end. We have come to an agreement of 5k in cash and 5k in watches. Today I took some objective pics myself to ask for the last time if the is any reasons not to buy it, any red flag before I pay this enormous amount of money for this piece of metal. The pics of the dial are not very good because the glass is frozen with tiny cracks that only appear on pictures. Actually the dial has no scratches or marks. I have checked the lumes in my toilets and the glow as should, homogeneously. I can't see concentric circle only the idea of concentric circle. Is the anti-magnetic cover legit ?
Well that's about it.
Thank you all for your help and precious advises. I know I am repeating myself, but I am seriously stressed before triggering.
