Yesterday I bought this old brown omega strap with omega buckle:






What do you think; Is the strap an original omega strap or a fake; Also what about the buckle; Is it original too or fake;

 

I think it's an original, don't you?

 

My gut says they are both original(the strap and the buckle) but since I don’t have much knowledge about vintage omega straps and with the plethora of fake omega buckles I thought prudent to ask.

 

Buckle looks genuine to me.

I wouldn't put my house on it, but I'd say it's original.

Thank you for your reply. I imagine the reason you believe it’s not an Omega strap is the text in the strap, right; At least that’s my concern about it. I certainly hope at least the buckle to be original...

The buckle looks definitely original to me too. Is it 14mm internal width?

 

It’s about 16mm

 

I don't know Omega straps but I find it hard to believe that one of that obvious quality is a fake. And if it is, it's nice enough that it wouldn't matter to me. Looks like you have it on a nice Constellation too...
