Same, though I think in the "loosened" position the links are closer together and less likely to get caught in your arm hair, IMO...

I love the new Forstner! It’s well made and fits great. I also like the packaging. The box has a definite retro feel. I highly recommend it to anyone on the fence!

After being shuffled around my local mail system for a few days mine finally came. These are so much more comfortable than the bracelet that comes on the Trilogy watches.

Now that is a great pairing! The lines of the lugs and the endlinks are perfect- almost architectural.

Mine has arrived and I am very happy. As is the norm for the UK and as I expected I got stung for import duty but such is life. As mentioned above in the EU dealing direct with Darren will no doubt be easier but I have no regrets signing up early as its nice to support a new seller directly. I have to say, if your wrist is smaller than 7" then you really need to consider the smaller version, mine is not but as you can see there isn't a lot of slack here.

Mine will no doubt end up on one of my 60s Speedies but for now here is a variation of the usual use, on a 3313 movement BA:

Well....just received mine and i am very upset...The clasp does not slide properly so impossible to fit the bracelet...Never had this problem with original JB stainless steel or gold plated...

Even without wearing the bracelet it is very difficult to make the slide up so imagine when at wrist...Simply impossible..::facepalm2::

For me it is just a cheap copy of the original.:(

Sorry to hear that’s your impression. What I think you’re actually seeing is that the back “keeper” that makes sure both sides of the bracelet stay together can be a bit “sticky” at first. Move it back and forth a couple of times (it might click once or twice) and it should then work smooth as butter. There can be a small breaking in period.

Of course, if it is defective we would be happy to send a replacement!

I found the locking clasp to be very tight at first but it loosed up quickly, can adjust it with my fingernail now whereas I had to use a screwdriver at first to unclasp it.

of course! It might also help to put a little oil (even if it’s just olive oil) on that part to help the process along. I’ve done that with other bracelets with great success (including taking the squeak out of the Rolex oyster bracelets).

Yeah that can be tight too - one of the things we did to improve the security of this band as opposed to the old ones was make the locking clasp fit tighter to the bracelet. We noticed on the old version that the clasp loosened itself sometimes (particular under some pressure like wrist flex for example). We wanted to make sure that didn’t happen in the new version (no clasp slippage).

Good question! I have an instructional video on the site. They are 1/8 inch polyimide (kapton) dots. Essentially, high tech plastic.
