Appreciate you both for checking that, truly. Im still investigating the error on the caseback, but so far im told its both unlikely that anyone would fake a quartz seasmaster, and its also unlikely they would go through the trouble to pull and match a serial from an authentic model. The caseback thing really bothers me from an authenticity standpoint but with the info you both gave me im gonna choose to believe this is a real piece.

Oops, obviously I stand corrected. That’s what makes this such a great forum. There is always so much to learn from other members. I am still surprised by the quality of some of the laser engraving, though. Oh well, that’s just me. Enjoy the watch!
