Agreed, it is a replacement. The original might look like one of the examples below.
Thanks, agree, the first watch should have the same case with downturned lugs from ca. 1945, I suppose, saw it some times in the forum. The second one has a typical military crown, so I believe the crown on the first one could be more correct to the watch. But nevermind, think the crown looks quite good in case of a replacement. I could live with that.

Looking for a 50s dial and hands for a 37mm Longines project with 12.68z movement.
Anyone have one over or maybe a nonworking 37mm watch or bad a cased watch with better dial?

I was wondering if mine is a redial?
You should have it redialed properly using good pictures on line. A very nice example was recently sold on auction with a beautiful black dial you could use as an example for the correct patterns.

On another note - - a terrible redial sold with a supposed "certificate of authenticity" - which is in fact a simple extract of archives.

Below are different images of the same watch/movement, with the visible dial foot highlighted. Dial feet are prongs, which are on the back of the dial, that insert into holes in the movement for purposes of situation. Since most Longines of this era had dials that were primarily composed of brass, the dial feet should appear brass-toned. A white dial foot is usually the sign of a redial. However, not all redials present white dial feet.
Thanks for the information on this!

Love how they conveniently leave the dial out of the description. 😡

Longines... "Quartz" on the dial and a manual hand-wound movement?
Surely the dial is changed.

Looks like a 90s Longines dial with wrong hands for that dial as well
