I am not convinced by this.. The lines could be erased. I was thinking more a out non applied logo or the shape of The wings...

Ca. 1950-53
The logo looks ok (for my Eyes). My watch has a serial number of cca 1950 and this was making me suspicious about being a redial. I did not saw before this kind of logo in early 50s. The lines you showed remains a question for me. Thank you!

I'd just like to ask about the logo on this watch: it seems odd to me that hourglass is so much thicker than the wings. Very hard to find a comparable watch. So many logo's are applied.

I'd point at the serifs. They are missing on the dial in question. Furthermore the minute hand is too short for this dial and the markers of the subdial are too short; not "close to the edge".

I put now a crop of The original picture and a new angle one. I see some serifs on Longines fonts, maybe The picture is bad and The glass Its obstucting us to see more. About the hands, i would have to see The same dial model to check if they should be longer or maybe The hands are a replacement. Is it not possible? Just saying.

Here's why looking for a vintage Longines has been so frustrating. Obvious hack redial with poorly retouched indices. And they want $950 US? What a great way to lose half of your money!

I am a noob and i can tell this only by seeing that The Longines text Its all crowded above The wings. It should have The L and The S outsider The text 😀

Hello!

I've found this one in eBay and I would like to know what do you think about the dial and the serial number engraved in the movement. The numbers look like home made. Am I paranoic?

Have a nice day everybody!

Serial number is from circa 1947 whereas the soleil dial is form the 1960s. This is an example to avoid.

I would go for that watch. Dial is not so common, but OK??? For me it looks good, also crown, case (polished) and hands look good, dates around 1945.
Interested in what you think. Thanks in advance for comments.
