·An older brother (1953) for my Memovox family! This one is a reference 3151 with a 489 cal. It's the stainless version of the Charlie Chaplin Memovox. Got some debris floating around the dial so it's off to the clinic but not before a brief family reunion.
I love the lugs on this one...
And the family reunion photo. (And yes, I have a major weakness for the Memovox). Need to stop.
DIBS on that tuxedo, personal Grail right there.

It has finally landed. 🥰🥰
Will move on for a spa treatment. Crystal needs to be replaced and movement cleaned and oiled for sure.
The cool thing to me is that the case back confirms my suspicion it is an early "waterproof" design by IWC with a so called "hermet" case.
These are not too common.
Dedication inscription not too bad either, but I will not change my name to Yngve anytime soon😀
