·just sat down with a cup of tea due to shock of my impulse buy!
Went to collect serviced french sphere watch from local watch-smith, had looked at some preloved Omega’s, Rolex and Tulip’s, then he brought this red box out from back, said he had bought it from original owner, just finished servicing it and about to put it on display. Box contained purchase/service papers etc.
Face has a couple of age blemishes but he doesn’t have them repainted unless really spoilt.
Well, had been sayinging I’d get a daily wearer and my wife said ‘treat yourself’ so I did!!!
Hence the tea, to recover from the shock!
Original purchase price was £64, cost me a lot more so hope it continues to be such a good investment.
