I needed a bracelet sizing tool, and rolled the dice on this one from ebay:

As far as I can tell it was produced by the North American Watch Company, probably in the '90s. If I had to guess from looking at the terrible photos, it has a side that will remove pins, and a side that will remove screw in links. It appears to be well made from what I can see of it, and was cheaper than ordering a Bergeon 7230.

Well since I posted this I was alerted that it was in the mailbox, so I braved the Phoenix heat and went and retrieved it. I bought it because I have a stubborn pin in a new bracelet I need to remove. It's quite a nicely made piece - solid metal with lots of extractor bits. Just one small issue - the knob on the piece that holds the extractors turns freely, and doesn't turn the threaded piece so that I can actually extract a pin ::facepalm1::

It's likely repairable - I was able to remove the knob by popping it off, so maybe some JB weld or superglue would hold it in place, but to say that it is a bit frustrating when all I wanted to do was remove the pin on my new bracelet would be an understatement.

I have lots of vintage ephemera. This is the most recent, and one of my favorites. It likely hung in a shop somewhere in Czechoslovakia during the 1950s.

An AP perpetual calendar.....push the button on the top and everything advances, just like a perpetual calendar watch. These date to the early 90's, I have it on my credenza so when I walk past it every morning I just give it a push and it does its own thing. No adjustments until 2100.

A new repro buckle, slimmer and less clunky than the modern ones sold on eBay and more similar to those on my 50s/60s watches 😀

project to repurpose some wine boxes we have. purchased the foam from "case club". a 1-1/2" solid base layer with a 1" "pick" layer that I'll use to create the spots for the watches.
