I bought enough gas to get my arse to Quebec City...... I only hope my wallet can stand the next few days
I go on holiday in a week and due to a bad experience some years ago I've decided to leave my higher end watches at home. So I was looking for a piece in the £200-250 price range, something I'm not afraid to get wet or beat up a bit and this bad boy arrived this morning. Sumo time.... For the price I'm absolutely delighted, it's a lot of watch for the money. Bracelet feels a bit cheap and nasty but, hey, it's a minor issue. It's a big watch but wears well. Very satisfied.
Wow, I'm envious. Loved Matra in F1 - the rivet work on their chassis, the first JYS championship and the fabulously noisy V12.
Zodiac World Time arrived. A group shot with my Zodiac Aerospace GMT & Zodiac Sea Wolf. I love the graphic design and detailing on these little Zodiacs.
An older brother (1953) for my Memovox family! This one is a reference 3151 with a 489 cal. It's the stainless version of the Charlie Chaplin Memovox. Got some debris floating around the dial so it's off to the clinic but not before a brief family reunion. I love the lugs on this one... And the family reunion photo. (And yes, I have a major weakness for the Memovox). Need to stop.
