Great Photoshop,I really hope Omega-Staff could see this Picture and Start producing it because they seem to have some strange taste sometimes, anyway they will never ever reach the quality of ZENITH watches not now not ever, never never never.ZENITH is a real manufacture brand, whereas Omega is Swatch.THIS is the truth

I think you got lost buddy.

If Omega stops producing the previous watch models, their supply would naturally deplete and prices should go up or remain steady. .

Furthermore, if the new limited models are anything to go by Omega will probably increase the prices of the new caliber speedy watches substantially. , so people will go after the older models which will likely factor in pushing their prices up.

I cannot see how their prices will go down, but then again I could be wrong.

Just a (photoshop) guess:
This could be the upcoming standard Moonwatch with 3861 caliber. 😉

The only difference between the current Moonwatch and the upcoming one will be the movement. I don't expect any other changes.

I will be looking forward to what is announced, as this will determine what Speedy for me to buy. Decided Speedy above Seamaster. However the Tag Monaco does keep resurfacing in the back of my mind!

Yeah just watch Teddy Baldassare’s video with Omega’s ceo. He talked about a possible ss non le with 321 and one with 3861.

Do you have a link? I can't seem to find the video on Teddy's YouTube channel?

I would contend that the hesalite is special for this watch because the hesalite is one thing that makes it certified be NASA. Sapphire automatically disqualifies the watch from certification. That sort off thing can’t really be said about other watches. I would contend the manual wind aspect is similar for this watch.

Nope. The X-33 was qualified for space flight with a sapphire crystal.

Put me in the camp that thinks Omega will keep a bog-standard Moonwatch in their catalog, along with an endless string of LEs and variations. The watch is a link to their past, is a steady seller and is known to non-watch geeks everywhere. I was reading somewhere recently where some Omega bigwig said the watch basically was their lifeline during the quartz crisis and they have no desire to change it or get rid of it. I wish I could find that source.

Only by the ESA. Maybe one day they’ll have a historic space legacy similar to the one that NASA has laid down, but until then, Omega will be cashing in accordingly.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if they do indeed keep the Hesalite version though it is the only continuum from the original "moon watch" type except for the esential design elements.
I think the public may turn away from plastic and seek to go for what they believe is a "higher spec" Saphire crystal and package it with the new movement to better push it up into ever higher price points.
Let's face it, the Saphire Crystal has been standard equipment for all the specials/limited editions when Omega could've maintained the most authentic link with Hesalite and chose not to.
In summary, it's entirely possible the Hesalite will be discontinued with the introduction of the new movement thereby completing the cutting of the cord. The new version may not have flight qualification either.
But that doesn't stop people from calling all the other variants with autos in them and moon phases and dates Moon Watches so the line is well and truly blurred as far as the run of the mill consumer is concerned.
So does keeping an authentic link to the past really matter?

Skywalker is by ESA, gen 2 is qualified for space flight by NASA.

Yep. The inscription on the case back reads, "Flight Qualified By NASA For Space Missions" 👍

I intended that ZENITH produces its own movements or calibers in their own factory, whereas OMEGA let produce their calibers by ETA which belongs to Swatchgroup. And beside this, EL PRIMERO is still the best mass produce Chronograph movement in the World.even Rolex decided to use the ZENITH EL PRIMERO CHRONOGRAPH. Did I make myself clear?

Do you own Zenith or Omega? Or did you make these sublime conclusions by reading the Internet ?

You're very short minded, did you forget that Juventus di merda played a whole season in the SECOND Relegation? (SERIE B). FC INTER WILL NEVER EVER FALL RELEGATED IN SERIE B, NOT THIS SEASON, NOT EVER NEVER NEVER NEVER

La Juventus scoperà una nonna dell'Inter!
