Funny, i had the same thought. VER has a contract for '19 AND 20, but there appears to be a clause that RB / Honda must offer a "winning car" (in some shape or form, likely to be 20 pages of legal contract bull***&^ to describe whats a winning car), or VER is at liberty to go elsewehere.

SO... if Honda is great next year, cool. If not, i could see VER replacing VET (its just one letter 😀

It’s been confirmed that Ver does not have the competitive car clause that Vet had with RBR.

Didn't Vettel sign through the end of 2020? If so then he isn't going anywhere unless Ferrari does a buyout. He and Lewis are both with their teams through the end of the current regulations. Should shape up for some great Ferrari vs Mercedes AMG battles along with the potential of RB Honda mixing it up.

That was great! Ric denying Max the record when this was his best chance of getting pole for the season. Even though I’m a Mercedes and Lewis fan, I hope Dani actually wins the race tomorrow.

Hi all, newby here making my first post ( and it's not even about watches! )
I'm currently reading a very insightful book called " How to build a car " by Adrian Newey. It's beautifully written & you get to know about some of the characters involved in F1.

Max said the car was crap all through qual in the post race interview.

Hamilton made oblique reference to max taking people out twice in the post race interview.

Not surprised Daniel feels this way and wouldn't be shocked if he just sits as a reserve driver for RB the rest of the way. At least this gives Gasly a chance to run the current RB car if this does happen.

I'm sure I have voiced my opinion of Hamilton in this thread already but if you forgot, I was not a fan.
However, HOWEVER, this season made me respect him a little more.
But only just a little lol.
He truly deserved the title this year.
He was able to stay focused and collected when it mattered while others around him fell apart.Yeah he may have been lucky a time or two, or just been in the right place at the right time, but that's racing. a
Sometimes it's not all about being JUST the fastest car/driver out there.
