My wife teases me every season because years ago she just so happened to be in Monaco during the grand prix (by chance) and she could have care less.
So when this race rolls around she just casually says, "oh I went to that."
Rude is what it is...

Monaco is on the bucket list, but a few years ago my wife and I made a double-header out of the German round of the WRC and the F1 round at Spa - they were only one week and a couple of hundred miles apart. Great trip.

Oh yeah if I had to choose between JUST Monaco, or Spa and a WRC stage...I think I would be going with the F1/WRC combo for sure!

lucky! Spa is on my bucket list. I just want to sit on the hill under the trees at Rivage. I don't think my wallet would appreciate a trip to Monaco

YOLO!!! My bucket list is Spa and Monaco. I can't go because of work but one day I'll make it to both.

At least I've finally found some friends who are willing to pay up to watch CoTA in the main grandstands for this year. In the past I've always went with people who only wanted to do GA tickets but you were stuck out in the sun all day.

nice! what was the price difference? I'd pay up to be out of the sun.

My buddy and I have had seats in the PCA block of the T12 bleachers for the past few years. We usually wind up wandering around the GA areas most of the time and just go back to our seats for the F1 sessions. We’re thinking of trying the main grandstand this year - I haven’t sat opposite the pits since Spa in 2002 - but the cost is double what we’re paying at T12.

Happy for Daniel but overall one of the most boring Monaco GPs.

I have always assumed when it comes time to attend a Monaco race we would just be there for qualifying and skip the parade. Today was truly a perfect example of why that makes sense.

Lewis said afterwards after around lap 6 he basically turned his engine down and just cruised to the end. Seems like P1-5 pretty much all did the same thing.

Thank God for Max starting in the back, it was the only racing I saw all day.

Yeah for being F1's "pinnacle" race, it sure is quite boring.

Moving on from Monaco...Montreal looks promising😀

Mercs worried about degradation on the hypersofts, Daniel on a high after the Monaco win, Verstappen with something to prove and probably still overdriving, Raikonnen having to up his game, Seb and Lewis not wanting to give up any points for the title fight. I think the Mercs will still be in damage limitation mode...Verstappen could again provide the random / joker card for the top 6 i.e crashing into someone.

Lots of strategy calls and chance of at least one VSC/SCs. Should be fun😀

Isn't Montreal is a high speed track? I expect Mercedes to be gunning for the win more than damage limitation if that's the case.
