Thank you so much. That confirms then my understanding of the manual. It is a pity Omega decided to change the layout of page 1 and 2 between the UTC and T1/T2 displays. Not sure what the use case for it is.
I was hoping to have something like I have on my Breitling where in one display I have everything without having to push any buttons to read the date or the day of the week:

So I guess I will have to prioritize the pro and contra of both watches before taking any decision.

But thanks a lot for the help.Really appreciated. Think I have quite a few Omegas and hadn't found this forum yet.

Yep, I think it was an odd choice as even toggling (pressing the crown) in T1 will show the day etc but then revert back to show T1; not sure why they feel constantly showing me T1 is important; if it had only remembered my mode switch.

The overall menu structure is a little odd overall and suffers from a lack of consistency; almost like each watch iteration brings in another way;

Still, it’s an awesome watch!

Well fancy that gentlemen. I learned some new tricks today. For anyone like me (who didn't know of this feature before this conversation), when you are in UTC, T1 or T2 and want to see the day of week; you have to depress the crown twice, rapidly.

My problem has been in the lack of haste I previously used to press the crown.

Found this forum bit late. Just got a 2017 x33. "Certified". So is this part of the first batch?

I had a 3rd gen x-33 (skywalker) with the tested and certified case back. sold it in 2021. it just did not do it for me, i didn't like hat i couldn't turn off the display...
i did replace it with a 2nd gen x-33 last year, which i like a lot better. so comfortable even in the large case size. i wear it in rotation often.
although it did make me happy to have a rare model, only 100 available.
when i bought it, i didn't realize there was a difference until I saw a post about it on WUS.
here was mine, cant find a photo of the back.
