To give you an idea of my wrist size, and why I gravitate to larger watches > 40mm, here is picture proof that a 44mm DSSD is not too big. I'm not a giant = 5' 9" and 250 lbs. The pic makes the Deep Blue look "normal" size!

Another family heirloom, my father recieved this Certina in '75, and hasn't worn it since! I found it in one of his wardrobes, completely NOS. He refused to wear it reasoning 39mm it's not a gentleman's size watch. Tnx Dad

It’s looks great on you & nice to see a watch that fits as it should . I’m 5’10 and 182 lbs but I wouldn’t say the MM300 which is also 44mm looks too big on me either .
