Came across this piece in mint condition and just had to grab it, Seiko 8306-8071 from '68, a rare version with a sunburst dial.

Timex electrico again, for some reason this watch is growing on me. Keeps great time, some patina but not destroyed fits and wears great, also period.

Wearing two today (again) as I do a good deed. A friend had eye surgery on Tuesday and is forbidden to drive. A follow up appointment (Thursday) and I sit in my truck, waiting for him. The Rolex Date-Just (1989) today, and my Gruen day/date. This morning, I was rummaging through my stash looking for something else, and I found a period correct bracelet for the Gruen, so the Chinese bracelet came off, and this one put on. It was filthy, but after a sonic scrub and brushing, it’s okay
