Cool, it was probably intended to be used as a weapon in case they went down behind the lines :D

Is the Day/Date a stepped set of dials or is it just the angle?

I have said it before, but I will repeat it again: This forum must have the nicest members out here on the web!
One of these are a gentleman located in the London area who generously donated me a EternaMatic KonTiki Guy Freres bracelet:)!
Made a comment that I was looking for one, and behold; a PM and later on a package to Norway:cool:.
When it also matches out 100% with the production date of my watch (GF dated their bracelets on the clasp) and it even is my birth year I can not tell how pleased I am!
In the true spirit of OF I would encourage others to think in the same lines. I will most certainly do!
EternaMatic KonTiki 20, cal 1489K on original bracelet::psy::! Come Summer!

Great story and a very generous soul! You've got a cheerful , friendly demeanor Anders and it doesn't surprise that someone would step up to help you like that!

    looks terrific.

I pretty much (((heart))) all Gay Freres stuff and this bracelet is as nice as any...

Big negotiation today...figured I'd wear a watch that has the wisdom of nearly twice my age.

I think it's the crispy all steel 70's look that I want to focus on for a while... with maybe a subtle splash of colour... :)
