I understand you. Got mine back from service and it hasn't left my wrist sinice then. Where did you get that strap? I can't seem to find many 19mm around.
19mm bands - Hirsch! Crocodile, leather, your choice of embossed croco/lizard/look leather, your friendly local dealer can get them.
Sporting some vintage Seamaster 300 authority indoors on a pleasant, casual, breezy morning today. 2913-5 on jubilee bracelet.
I had a reshuffle of straps over the weekend, switching the Hirsch calf originally on this Seamaster with the brown alligator on my De Ville. Turns out the different sized cases both work better on the other strap and so it's a bonus all round. Today it's the Seamaster:
What a great looking watch! What caliber and model is that? Was the waffled dial offered on any other Constellations?! That watch has nearly everything I love about vintages Omegas all on one watch: the dagger markers, waffle dial, cross hair markings, clover crown and I'm sure a beautiful Constellation badge on the back! Great watch - wear it well!
Thanks It's a 2648 with calibre 354, from around 1952. The waffle dial was offered on various early Constellation references but I couldn't tell you all of them! And you're right, the case back is quite pretty on this one
Incredible all around! And a "dibs" just in case no one has already made that claim - though I assume someone has...
This little textured hobnail dial Seamaster popped through the letterbox… Cleaned case, Polished crystal. Probably not noticeable from my pictures but I love the transformation when you get these a bit worse for wear! Ref: 2577-10 cal. 354 Before> After> Edit: Anyone a spare steel clover crown?
