路A day behind......but falling in love with this one again thanks to a "new" bezel insert that is more properly patina'd....plus a new Bulang & Sons strap. This is my very first B&S strap and I am not sure I will ever go elsewhere again. It is awesome!

路This morning my wife told me she tried on my pre-moon speedy, liked how it hugged her wrist and wondered if she should also buy one. I was thrilled to hear this. And just a few hours later we were in a vintage watch shop in Amsterdam looking at old speedies. From what they had in stock, this 145.022 with dark blue 220 bezel was the most interesting.
It came with original bracelet, but the leather strap was put on it as she wanted to try it on leather. Me and the sales guy were super enthusiastic about how it looked on her wrist. However she decided not to rush and informed us both that she needed to think it over.
Once we were outside she told me she liked the look of my Speedy much more and asked me if she could just borrow mine. Uh oh...
