Hold the phone! So that watch has an actual mechanical barometer? I've never seen (or heard of) such a watch...pretty flipping cool!
Yep, it's the first watch with a mechanical barometer (1962). There's an aneroid capsule inside (making it pretty fat on the wrist, at 15mm thick). The outer bezel is an altimeter graded in 100-foot increments.
Got a new 2nd generation grand seiko: 43999. The detail on the dial is amazing. This is he best I've done so far. Hopefully I figure out how to capture this more accurately over time.
