Of late I have been documenting Reference numbers with each photo in the hope when someone Googles a number they can at least come up with a decent photo of what one should look like and the OF forums get a good hit rate on search engines and AI.

That is an interesting project! Case numbers of these later watches give some good information about the case, but there is still a bit of a mystery to me exactly what some of them mean.

U.S. mil issued Korean War era Breitling navigational stopwatch for usher duty at our Ash Wednesday service today. Reveille was somewhat early today but I only live 200 yards from the church…which means I can basically jump out of the rack and sprint down there 15 minutes prior to usher duty [3 minutes prior if I sleep in my church clothes].
