Anyone else just rotate through watches throughout the day when working from home? I can’t stick to just one.

I swap a lot when I work at home. Or have 2-3 on my desk along with a stop watch as a fidget toy. My wife likes it better than I had 2-3 balisongs on my desk and would flip them during remote meetings. I got a little weird early in Covid.

Not going to lie, I had to look up what a balisong is. I hope you were on camera when you were doing this!

Only one person called me out on it, but he is a vet and just thought it was funny. I had a moment of clarity and switched to a 'baliyo' pen that you can flip the same way. So, I guess that was slightly less insane.

Training around some injuries with my Apnea. Getting old sucks. Stuff takes way longer to heal than it should.

Not a Moonphase watch, but the moon is full!

Blue larimar (Dominican Republic) orb will need to suffice for now 😀

Is 1962 the year Zodiac went to split lume hands containing the separating spine? I'd not discovered the date for the change in Sea Wolf hands.

I've guessed that it's an earlier variant Sea Wolf, perhaps as far back as mid to late 1950s. The movement does not feature a hacking feature. I don't know what year the hacking feature was introduced to the Sea Wolf. Some information found on the internet (you know how internet information is) says the first year Sea Wolfs were the variants that had no hacking feature. That would be 1953-1954.

From my limited understanding, the Zodiac inroduced the separating spine in the hand around 1962 or 1963. I think it was during or after this period the hackset was introduced too. I'm guessing your SW features a 699 movement, seeing SWISS is printed below 6 o’clock. Is yours rated for 10 ATM or 20 ATM on the caseback?

You are not fully dressed until you wear a smile and Omega watch. (ref. 2576 cal.342)

Currently my (almost) daily wearer. Can’t say I grow tired of it, at all!

Good day all. Wearing one of Omega’s worst selling watches of all time … and the crown jewel of my collection. Proof positive that you never know what is going to become a grail for collectors. 😀
