Another bad hair day…currently at the layover motel gym in ATL…and on a positive note, I’m wearing my AWCI build-a-watch school ETA 6497-1…

I just had the worst Panda Express of my LIFE in the F concourse there the other day...
At least there was a pretty Shark Blue Cayman to look at.

This just arrived from Japan, for what I think is a bargain at $2200 USD. It's very sharp and totally unpolished with all coloured pushers intact. Will now need to get a service and replace those mismatched subdial and chrono hands...

Congrats mate, beautiful catch and a very good price. You have a hard choice, replace with orange or yellow hands?

Holiday colored-y light bulbs are now installed in the chandelier over the dining room table. Of course we can no longer see in there after dark.

Kinda Silver Arrow

That's a Longines model that I've not heard of before. Lovely case lugs design and nice markers on the dial. Is it equipped with the 30LS movement?

For Display Purposes Only.
Non-Running Model.
Which is unfortunate for me. At least it was cheap. If anyone has suggestions re: Hamilton Electric servicing I'd be interested in talking to someone about getting it running.

Caliber 23ZS actually, and the markers have a bit of the Conquest markers charm... Very reactive to light, and they shine quite nicely.

The elongated sharp-shaped lugs makes to my eyes an attractive case.

Silver Arrow, Silvergines, Golden Arrow, Goldengines ... Gold Fingers 😀
A nice serie for the Youth (as advertised) from Longines.
A few threads in our dear Forum are dedicated to those models:

I've been wearing smaller watches these days. My A-11 and A-17 milwatches predominantly. And recently found this little (32mm) Concord at a garage sale. I like the way it looks on a bund..
