PS. There is a section on the Silver Arrow in the latest book by Stephanie Lachat (the Museum and heritage department at Longines really do an outstanding job documenting the rich history of the brand). This is what the book says: The silver arrow was released in 1956. The Longines agent in Switzerland asked Longines in the summer of 1956 to make an 18K version (the Golden Arrow). The lines were discontinued in 1959, which explains why these are quite rare.
