Acquired today, an Eterna Sonic. Same movement as the Omega F300. Not quartz, but transistorized, with tuning fork. My first Eterna, and my first grey dial. Vintage? Circa 1970.

Getting ready for Wyler Wednesday…an under appreciated brand…guilty of wearing it too infrequently, but I do like it. Cheers!

😁
It reminds that Mark Knopfler was singing “I dug up a something, rare and fine”. Right,it’s a diamond, but gold ought to be better in the watch world! 😉

Good day all. Today’s choice is a 1950 Seamaster 2576 bumper. 🥰

A bit of fun before putting on the Omega…
I loved that show before it became too campy. The pilot episode is really quite good and featured a very young and stunningly beautiful Barbara Anderson as Steve Austin’s critical care nurse/love interest who prevented him from committing suicide while in the hospital upon his learning of the extent of his injuries from the crash of the experimental plane that he was test piloting. Darren McGavin played the cold high level intelligence agency operative who authorized Mr. Austin’s bionic reconstruction.

One of my favorite shows as a kid.

More serious watch on now after morning workout.
