·I will get laughed at but I wanted to try it out just to do it and I am now wearing it. It's an eBay titanium case with a eta 2824 clone movement with black lumed Mercedes hands. Yes they do glow but not for long.
It is currently gaining 6 seconds a day, which for a 40 bucks automatic movement I won't complain.
It was surprisingly tricky to get everything together, but for my first time I guess that's to be expected.
I present my 90 buck "custom" watch.
ETA sorry for the finger prints on the crystal I did not bother wiping it off.

Of late I have been documenting Reference numbers with each photo in the hope when someone Googles a number they can at least come up with a decent photo of what one should look like and the OF forums get a good hit rate on search engines and AI.
