The last two posts could describe our listening tastes. We're likely to spin a Mozart CD just after listening to the Beatles. Almost have Mozart complete and have the complete Beatles.

Mrs. noelekal and I are listening to the Eagles two-disc "Long Road Out Of Eden." This one's on now.

This group has very eclectic taste. Love the Eagles. Love the Beatles. 80's alternative. Most anything really.

Blimey 'Cosmic Dancer'... "was it strange to dance so soon?... I danced myself right out the womb'.
Funny thing Larry. I was really into T-Rex in the early seventies, (bought the earlier acoustic stuff as well.) and yet I wouldn't have it that I often used to chat to Marc Bolan's Dad. My mate Nicky said he was the caretaker on one of my paper Rounds just off of Upper Richmond Road in Putney, South West London. I said "Don't be a pratt Nick... That's Mr Feld." (I had no idea that was Marc Bolan's real name)

    What a nonuffinkkid!:D

Just recently upgraded this and Slider to the remastered vinyl. Need to get Tanx. Awesome. Saw him in a small theater in PA in the 70's. What a loss! He was brilliant. Very cool story.

Good memories! I Think the only one I have left is an old album with Marc and Micky on the cover with Marc's stripped Gibson Les Paul. Vague tracks like 'The Wizard', 'Beltane Walk' and 'one inch rock'.

I remember that the first attempt I ever made at recording a song was a Tyrannasourus Rex song with my mate Ian Falks in about 1969 or1970??? Ian's Dad had an open reel tape recorder. I played two chords Ian banged some sort of hand drum and we tried to record Mustang Ford. We sang "My my Mustang Ford..it's all put together with alligator leather" with wobbly voices. As I recall, It sounded crap but a brave attempt for a couple of twelve year old kids!:D

Go on Larry, crank up the record player, balance the penny on the arm to stop it jumping and get ya satin jacket on!

Courtney Love is a bit of a head case but this Hole album from '94 is very solid

A lot of this lately, mostly in the Gym. Good Energy. And nice to see that there still are good rock bands out there this day and age.

Equally good take a listen to Mothership:
