Flipper is probably pretty out there for most, but if you enjoy obscure music:

I am not a huge Nirvana fan, but this Kurt Cobain was a Flipper fan.

Because of some charity work I do I actually ran into this fine guy and became, well I don’t want to say friends but acquaintances. I was very surprised I missed an event due to covid and I got a message from him asking how I was doing and wishing me well. I’m always amazed when the very few people who achieve some amount of fame I meet are like normal and down to earth.

I have been listening to my childhood favourite Thin Lizzy lately and this song might be one of the best songs Phil Lynott made. Partly because the one that introduced me to Thin Lizzy ODèd some 40 years ago and because Phil had his own problems with "the stuff". Brian Downey steady as a rock on the drums, American Scott Gorham is one of the best rock guitarists ever and Snowy White stepping in for Brian "Robbo" Robertson on co-lead guitar.
