I'm converting a fine 1960 Ray Conniff LP to CD.

 

I decided something closer to the year for the next album would be better. These LPs sure sound better than the CDs I have.

 

Yo La Tengo and one of my favourite albums from the '90s

 

One for tropical dial fans.

 

The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast and Ted Talks on the commute into the city.

 

Saw them at Womad a few years back, amazing

 

Will probably losten to Radioheads the bends this morning on the way into work I reckon, will nost likely be singing along too

 

Currently spinning the CD.

 

My son told me about David Maxim Micic, who reminds me a bit of Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, for those of you who once entertained guitar God fantasies. Fun stuff!

I can hear that even with the sound turned down, just by looking at it.

 

-sigh- Back in about 1993 or 1994, before online music, I bought two Joe Satriani CDs (in a shop!) looking for Eric Johnson's "Cliffs of Dover."

 

I've been hearing this a lot on the Adult Alternative cable music channel and I like it. The video's nothing great.

 

Reading a thread about Rolex "wideboy" DD's in the Rolex section...and so the inspiration for a day of Foghat...

This song is a bit out of character for them, but it's actually one of my favourites.

 

Never heard that one before, Archer, or the album from which it came. It is a bit different in an appealing way.

I'm suggestible so am spinning this Foghat CD, their first album I suppose.
