Compelling indeed. What does it signify?
Possibly that contrary to the popular national stereotype, some Germans do have a sense of humour 😁

Saw James Taylor in concert last night - went for my wife who loves his music. He was certainly good, and I enjoyed a few songs (probably because they are so familiar). Today I needed something around the same age but with a little more kick, so...

Has to be my favourite song of theirs...that riff is just sooo good...

Denison Kimball Trio.

...except they're not a trio, they're a duo.

Joe Walsh...solo stuff and not Eagles material. Although I have some Eagles music, I've never been a huge fan, but I've always loved Joe's solo material, and feel that as a solo act he has been seriously underappreciated. Many seem to forget that he was a star before he was in the Eagles...Funk #49 anyone (James Gang)?

Anyway, usually people have heard Rocky Mountain Way and maybe Life's Been Good, but there are so many other great songs...this one is one of my favourites off The Smoker You Drink The Player You Get...

And yes he's a madman on the intro. I had this on the stereo last night with the windows open as we sat on the deck having a beer, and my wife was commenting on the intro of this song, wondering if our new neighbours will think we are killing someone in the living room. 😀

This band, Lucius, is a recent discovery and I really can't get enough of them. Their first and second albums are wildly different stylistically but I love them both. This is from their first album, Wildewoman.
