Abbey Road on the morning commute; just read an excellent article on Paul McCartney by Adam Gopnik in this week's New Yorker.

Love side two of Abbey Road.

I "re-retired" from a banking career on the 31st of March. Been mostly out of town since, spending a week helping prepare aged parents for a move from our old home place to a different town 360 miles away and then a week with our son and family 865 miles away in Nashville, Tennessee. As life settles into retirement, music is much more a part of the day than the TV will ever be. The stereo has played constantly in our household all our married life. Never been much into television.

I'm about to go out and mow the yard but have been listening to the Eagles this morning, this CD in particular.

I was listening to this on the way home from the golf course. Vince Gill on the lead guitar and harmony vocals.

Just to offer some STRONGGGG contrast to everything else posted. Grew up with Paoli playing always and still love 'em. I'll wait for all the other fans...📖👎🤔🥱... Anybody???

Bubba Keith, the lead singer on this tune was a loan customer of mine for a few years. He said the song is actually about his (at that time) four-year-old daughter rather than about a lover.

some rhythm.

If you listen to the lyrics that's a super-creepy, super-rapey song.

It's also a karaoke standard among me and my friends
