No, and please excuse my poor english, i'm from Romania, this is the reason why i am on this Forum. I will buy a Omega watch (in the next months). I want to decide whitch model, because i want one of in house movement. I'm not a Rolex fan, but i like these watches very very much (matherials and other reasons). Let me post one of the famous (not expensive) vintage watch (of my collection 1930-1940). The reason is that Omega use these Brand in their movements.

Ah very nice Lemania. So you are thinking of buying an Omega Cal 8500 or 9300 soon?

Thank you. Also the Breitling (from the pictures) have a Lemania movement (Lemania 1873), same movement from some Omega models. Yes i want to buy a Omega with one of this movement (depending of the design).

..and it has something to do with Mercedes Gleitze swimming across the English Channel wearing the Rolex oyster back in 1927. That was quite a remarkable marketing strategy as well, especially for sports!
