Some great looking new releases from Tudor today, the Tudor website has crashed under the extra interest:

Hmm...

Or Tudor crashed the site themselves in a desperate (but daring!) effort to recapture the narrative in the wake of significant disinterest from the WIS community about these new releases....

The best part of today's releases is that I have learned "taupe" as a new colour 😒. I don't like it but at least it was something new 😀

What are colors that remind us of mediocre apartments we had in college. Alex?

It’s not down you just have to be a known customer at your AD to get on the waiting list to get in

Tudor has a ton of updates to their 1926 line. I frankly think this is totally beautiful; the size is just right IMO, love the typography of the numerals, and love the textured dial. The price is pretty insane, really. Such a sweet-spot for a first timer setting foot into luxury watches. Or an affordable grad gift. Crown seems well proportioned. Don't love the date at 3 o'clock (never do, never will) but I would LOVE to see this in hand.

Just a stunner, IMO.

Personally think the silver will do quite well. Taupe is an interesting choice; need to see it in real life though.

Yeah the 925 is pretty cool. Also liking the white dial chrono.

Gotta give props to Tudor's social media team. They're on top of IG answering loads of questions this morning:

Not sure about that claim about the silver alloy, but hey... interesting!

As soon as you all understand that Rolex invented the silver watch case

The waterproof watch

And the hacking movement

you may be tongue-in-cheek, but even still I’m please adding the “ring command bezel” to your list - for my money it’s among the most impressive innovations to complicated watches in a long time

*grits teeth and waits for someone to chime in with how Invicta did it first back when...*

I see this kind of like push button starts on cars- I don’t remember ever hearing anyone complain about keys.
An answer to a question that nobody asked.

IS THAT the white gold seadweller, @cvalue13 ?

No, this is a complication/mechanism found only on the Sky Dweller and Yacht-Master II.

On the Yacht-Master II, the Ring Command bezel sets and synchronizes the countdown timer in the watch. On the Sky-Dweller, the Ring Command bezel allows the user to select the function to adjust (whether that’s the annual calendar, local time, or second time zone).

Hm, I’ll ask you to point me to other watches that are joint GMT + Annual Calendar that don’t require 4 arms, a bobby pin, an auspicious evening, and a cocktail to get all set right.

Time-only, or single complication watches have no need for push button starters - but for more complicated pieces the ring command bezel makes for a really robust and elegant interface.

But, different strokes! 👍

Wow that is sharp. Does that have an in-house movement? I gotta look it’s very interesting and straightforward.

ETA movements in these, if I've understood things.
