·Not sure why, but I've observed that a lot of the '68 Transitionals have maintained terrific consistency in aging (hands and lume). More so than 145.012's and 105.012's from just a couple years earlier. Really wonder why that is.

·Now here's a question. While I always thought that it is possible to have a -69 with an aml dial and low serial, I have not yet seen it.
Does anyone have a -69 Transitional?
If not I shall have to update my pages ....

··Hoarder Of Speed et alia27322xxx is 145.022-68 territory I believe. If the Speedie has a 145.022-69 caseback, I think it is in error.

··Hoarder Of Speed et aliaSerial #284262xx is my earliest 145.022-69. There are some that are earlier. Not many however. Mine has a painted emblem.

Could be. I know it was probably possible that the movement was made earlier than the case back and they just used the parts on hand when the watch was assembled?
