IG seems to take many of the good photos that used to come here, so here goes... Two 145.012's from opposite ends of the condition scale.
One day I hope to have two Speedmasters on either end of the condition spectrum, but for now it's these two Wittnauer 8023-241T's Excuse the glary photos. Did my best to jerry rig one of my SLR polarizing filters to use with my iPhone camera haha
A pair of 105.012 with some considerable distance between them on the condition scale. On the left is a -66CB, on the right is a -64 which at one point graced the OP's collection. I love 'em both, but the lived-in one gets way more wrist time. Cheers, -GW
A late 1920s Longines that sat in a drawer of scrap watches until the time was right. Before, and after.
The beast. Before finding a donor movement. The beauty. Close to two years later, after things came together. A Howard series 5 that I did for a friend, about 35 years ago.
145.022-68 i.e. Beauty versus a 145.022-69 in incredibly overpolished state and sporting a service bezel... ... but wait 'till you see the right one in better light. Pictures follow.
Two vintage Seamasters. On the left a 1962 14389 with a clean dial. On the right a 1954 2759 with dial spotting and patina (still kinda charming though!).
