I'm on vacation but my wife likes:

Aqua terra
Waltham trench ww1 watch ( she loves it)
JLC compressor
Explorer 1
Cartier roadster

She does not like any of the subs, omega, rolex etc that all look the same to her

My wife would like to "annex" the SubC, but prefers the Speedmaster for me. I think she is sincere in admiring the Speedy, but it could just be a ploy to pry loose the Sub.馃槖

All the others... she enjoys me enjoying them, but doesn't care much one way or the other beyond that. In other words about the same level of admiration and attention I give to her handbags. 馃榿

This one for sure. It was a gift from my wife, and the first "luxury" item I'd ever received as a gift in my entire life. That's why this watch is so special on so many levels.

The watch was sold with the croc leather strap, but I wore it on a stainless steel bracelet for a couple of months just to change things up a bit. Not one day went by without my wife complaining about how much she disliked the stainless steel bracelet. After switching back to the croc strap recently I must say my wife called it correctly. I doubt I'll ever put the SS bracelet back on.

Strangely enough she does not like gold for herself - almost never wears it. But when it comes to me wearing watches - these are the ones she wants me to wear.

Mine could honestly not give two shits about any of them. It's possibly because every time she notices a new one she's told it cost $100.

She likes my Reverso Duo - the only one that gets the thumbs up.

The recurring theme of this thread: The wife either can't stand watches or claims some for herself. Which is better? 馃槣

Mine likes to pilfer the 1946 red gold JLC that was redone at LeSentier.

She seems to like this one quite a bit, but that may also be because I tend to wear it when I have to wear a suit. I agree with her though, it's my current favorite. @MikiJ The Latour is a real treat, rarely do I get to enjoy First Growths. The Seconds, 3rds, etc. are more my territory, Gruaud-LaRose & Pichon-Lalande are some of my favorites.

From women this one always does the best:

1680 Submariner does the worst, had a girl once tell me I should throw it in the bin, save up and buy a nice TAG Heuer. Rolex Daytona does pretty well with women, but I have had a girl see it and ask me if I was a drug dealer in a bar.

Drug dealer ::facepalm1:: I suppose there may be some out there with excellent taste in watches. But unless you also drive a deep, window tinted sportscar/luxury SUV I'd say it was an unsubstantiated claim.

"On the Way to Going Broke" I bought one each of the 1982 First Growths plus an '82 Petrus. I hosted a little party for my 60th. Birthday and we drank them all 馃榾
