My wife likes this '49 vintage Longines with a 27M movement in its 18kt gold case. Need to take an updated photo of the watch.
Could be the shape of the case? My wife gave me this for my 40th (very nearly 9 years ago). She likes it so much, she "borrows" it on the black welted leather strap it came with. It also came with the bracelet, which I prefer. Edit: just noticed the wine. Yeowza! Fine Pauillac ya got there...I turned legal wine-buying age when there were still 1982 Bordeaux on the market. I still have one Leoville Las Cases (St. Julien) left, and a couple 1989s (Lynch Bages and Leoville Barton?) I didn't have much cash in 1987. It was already going toward watches!
