··Prolific Speedmaster HoarderI would like to play but I am unable to pick just one watch. To kick off the year I posted what I thought were my favorites in WRUW for a week a total of fourteen watches.
This then sent me down the rabbit hole of trying to determine what watches I couldn’t part with. In short it was an utter waste of time, I purchased pretty well all on their merits and because I liked them and nearly all I still like whether they be a cheap old Seiko or the more expensive in my collection.
Yes there a few that I feel if I were under the gun and had to liquidate I couldn’t but that number would be at least twenty and not entirely based on value.

·It seems to be whatever I decide to wear that day. But if I pick one it is this one. 3523.80. I know it's not that special, but I love it. Terrible picture, but it's in perfect condition with a new crystal and dial.

·I guess for me it is this one. I have more expensive watches and watches I wear more often, but this one makes me smile everyday when I go to my watch box. The dial, the size and the even the old original bracelet just work in my mind’s eye. It’s old but not too old, it works great, has my favorite complication, and to top it all off, I got a great deal on it. Now ask me tomorrow and I might say something else. 😊
