What was your first Omega watch?

Started with a 2531.80 about 17 years ago. Never had an Omega prior to that. The slippery slope:black 42mm PO when they first came out. Then came a frenzy of:

- Orange 42mm PO
- Coaxial Bond GMT
- Electric Blue Seamaster
- 2264
- 2254
- Another black 42mm PO
- 8900 Speedy
- 8900 43.5mm PO
- Latest grey dial Seamaster
- Blue dial latest Seamaster

I only have the 9300 Speedy and Blue Seamaster now (although I have other brand watches). I think it's safe to say I do prefer my Omegas! I dread to think of the depreciation I've swallowed over the years.

A Constellation with the day and date in the late ‘80’s. Had I only known then what I know now😀. Sadly the battery leaked and destroyed the watch

I have tried to only own one watch at a time, I started with a speedmaster reduced, then a 2504 aqua Terra, then a speedmaster pro, now i have a 165.010 (or whatever the 562 cal date variant is) seamaster that I think I am finally satisfied with

That is a beautiful watch. Especially from a mother-in-law. Have you had it serviced to see if there is a James Bond type of recording device installed? I am kidding of course. Many on the forum wishes (myself included) for such a nice gift from an in-law.
Thank you. She was a very special lady. Her daughter and I celebrated 50 years this past August.

Thanks for serving! Lots of Vets here. Honored to give you a first like.
Love your watch and strap even though I'm a vintage guy.
My "new" watch is 48 yrs. old but also a "coming home".
3 posts in 5 years.....you been busy?

Very cool, Brez.
UncleBuck, thank you. Just a little 😀

My first was a speedy racing 40mm. But I quickly traded it for a speedy FOIS. I had fun with the FOIS for a year and changed it to the 60th trilogy until now. I'm sure this will be in my collection for a very long time.

Everyone seems to be posting some really nice 'first Omegas'...I on the other hand, paid my noobie tax with this '37 R17.8. I then found OF, and have learned enough to know I should never buy a vintage watch on a whim, and that this one is an obvious re-dial, and who knows what else is incorrect... Thank you all for sharing your wisdom and beautiful watches!

Next, after much reading and education from the OF members, I tracked down this 3592.50 Apollo XI and have been smitten ever since.

Gold capped Seamaster KO 2846 / cal 501.

it had the most perfect dial. The tiniest bit of rubbing on the lugs and I stupidly thought I could flip it and find better. I never have and it’s on the massive list of watch mistakes I regret.

My only Omega is the Speedmaster Trilogy. I love the watch... I am looking for a second Omega to add to my collection, but I am not sure which one yet. Maybe the Seamaster trilogy. I also like the P O.

Bought this one almost 6 years ago right here on the Omega Forum. Started me on an adventure of a lifetime. Thanks to @usmc93 for my first, and to all of the other sellers I have done business with over the years for helping me build my collection.

Well, no one told me about her, what could I do?
Well, no one told me about her, though they all knew
But it's too late to say you're sorry
How would I know, why should I care?
Please don't bother tryin' to find her
She's not there

Speedmaster Reduced reference 3510.50.00 from a seller in Japan in around 2004. Wore it on a leather strap most of the time. Great watch, sold it for a profit.
