My First Omega Watch

I'm a Bulova guy in wristwatches, but I just bought my first Omega watch! I'm Impressed. Don't really know much about them. I bought it from a doctor for $50 dollars and I'm told that was a bargain! I will post some photos, and any Information would be appreciated. Bulova's have a date code on the back of the case. I can't open the case, but i have a photo of the watch.

All looks in order. A gold filled case, less desirable than stainless steel. And the model too is not particularly desirable to a collector but splendid as a 1 st omega. The omega automatic movement itself is worth several fold what you paid. Great buy
I wonder why the doc had to sell it for 50 bucks, might as well given it off?
Edit. The bezel should be solid gold I think. 10k?
