Not intensely loyal to any brands but these I normally strongly prefer:

    - R.M. Williams leather boots. The absolute best boots I have ever worn.

    - Brax pants. Really love their high-stretch material. Have three currently that I rotate when it’s too cold to wear shorts (or when I have meetings at work)

    - Barbour. I love Barbour and currently have 3 or 4 jackets. I have had a couple of issues in the past with buttons coming loose or the seems ripping by the pocket buttons. A bit annoying but otherwise great quality.

    - Lululemon. Probably mostly a yoga/workout wear brand but they make amasing t-shirts that just fit me extremely well. Very light and breatheable (I get very warm). I wear Lululemon t-shirts at work 9 days out of 10.

    - Schiesser underwear. Comfortable and no nonsense. All I ever put little... erhhh big badly in.

    - Benoit Marguet champagne. I really like champagne and my favourite overall is probably Marguet. Extremely well made biodynamic and organic champagne.

I don't think I'm "intensely" loyal to any brand for any thing.

I certainly have preferences, and my buying patterns do favour brands. So for example I've had 6 BMW's and my wife has had 4, but "intense loyalty" seems to indicate that I would stick with this brand no matter what, and that's not the case. If they stop making cars that I like and want, I'll stop buying them and move on to ab rand that makes what I want.

In the great ketchup (tomato sauce to my wife) debate, there no Heinz in our house. With how poorly that company treated the farmers a few years ago not too far from where we live, we stick with a company that only uses Canadian ingredients in the products they sell here, so for us it's French's.

I had a hard time with that also. I’m not exactly intensely loyal, they are just ones I can recommend without reservation or I prefer as long lasting and good quality for the price.
I mean I have a hard time recommending a new BMW as CPO cars are very common where I live and I prefer someone else to take the depreciation. And as the past few years have seen BMW loose some of its BMWness I see myself in another brand potentially next time.

Same- I was die hard BMW for decades, then the Bangle era happened and that was it. When I had to buy a sport wagon in 2010, I went with an ‘06 Audi A3- I actually felt like a traitor, I was embarrassed to tell my friends (hard core BMW heads)- I got over that fast and still have the Audi- great little car.

Bought BMWs for a few years, 1 series as I'm a single guy and overall was quite happy with them. Then I bought an X1 - the most evil-handling vehicle I've ever owned. Even after a BMW mechanic described it as having "deficient handling" the dealer was completely averse to taking it back. Eventually it took some strong words about consumer law and "fitness for purpose" before I got my money back.

I've had a Mazda 3 for over 6 years. It does everything I want with no fuss or bother. Apart from dodgy alloys (replaced at Mazda cost) it's performed well. The only problem I can see is that I may well have forgotten that lights and wipers may need to be activated by the driver as it does that sort of thing for me :)
