Hard to say ... Although I value quality, I am not particularly loyal to brands. It's more that first of all those brands come to my mind, that I would never buy, just because of the stupid or aggressive advertising which is done for them.

I honestly never thought I was loyal to certain brands...then I realised I'm super dumb.
    In no particular order:
    Hiut denim
    Vw
    Orange bikes.
Been going for a while those last 2

I can't say I'm really "Intensely" loyal to any brand. I've bought into systems and had generally good service from the product ranges so I stay in the system, e.g. Nikon and Ryobi. Klein tools I've found to be good work tools for what I do and I now buy them without considering cheaper alternatives.

I have an intense negative response to Sony - over-priced proprietary batteries, memory and replacement parts. I will never, ever buy another Sony product.

Black and Decker. Somebody should have clued their design department into other rechargeable batteries than Ni-Cads. They generally make cheap crap that is insulting to the marketplace.

You took my answer. As I was reading through this, I was struggling to think of a single brand that's loyal to me in exchange for my loyalty to them. With almost everything I've loved it feels like quality eventually goes down and the price goes up faster than it should. Everything's negotiable except Heinz ketchup.

I usually don't like the idea of brand loyalty. When my students ask me 'What's better, Canon or Sony?', they usually get a lengthy sermon on ignoring branding and choosing the appropriate specs for the job at hand.

But, a few makers that I really enjoy...

    - Uukha for bow limbs.
    - Rogue for strength training gear (though I do prefer vintage York Barbell to that when I can get it)
    - Billy Reid and Drakes. Though for some reason, Hickey Freeman usually fits me really well right off the rack without tailoring. But, because I work for a nonprofit and have a baby, there's also a lot of Uniqlo in my wardrobe.
    - Tilta and Manfrotto for camera rigging. My cameras and lenses may change depending on the job, but there's usually some Tilta cages and Manfrotto rigging in the mix.

I read anything by Magary and several other Deadspin alums. I'm particularly impressed by David Roth, somehow he's the wittiest and most insightful writer right now on both baseball and US politics.

Was true for me until they were taken over by 3G, became evil and destroyed Kraft. Trader Joe’s organic ketchup is my brand now.

Mine's been going strong for 7 and counting. Paired with a Rancilio Rocky grinder & I'm happy.

    Forgot to mention Le Creuset.

Not the new range but the vintage pieces you can pick up on ebay for a song. I absolutely love cooking in them.

Heinz's recipes vary around the world according to local preferences. Heinz ketchup in the UK is not the same as Australia is not the same as the US. Some are sweeter, some more tart. You tend to find Heinz at most restaurants which is fine, but at home we use ketchups that don't use corn syrup.

All this discussion of condiments made me remember: sriracha292way_custom-1b1762ac5f721878e151ce4ffc9b46bac2e9e3d5-s800-c85.jpg

Nothing compares to it for a thick hot sauce. I do also use home made chili oil, and various Mexican hot sauces: Tapatio, Valentina, Cholula, etc.
