·I am in agreement on saving for bigger pieces. Very hard to stay strong as so many wonderful pieces both modern and vintage at all price points but stay strong I will!

·I redid my boxes over the weekend and saw what I have ... makes me realize that I shouldn't buy more but I can't imagine I won't since I have a few in mind already, and ... sadly? ... they are 500-1k micros that just look so damn good. I was set to pick up that orange dial NH MKII and then he dropped his NH55 and I'm like .... woah. And then there's the Longines bronze/green diver.
zman, you need to do a couple "no repeat novembers" with me and then you get to wear it all. 😁

·I resolved several years ago to not buy any watches. I have renewed that resolve each year, and have stuck to that resolve. I have, however, added numerous watches to my collection by resurrecting stuff that has surfaced from my stash. Oh! Wait! I did buy one last year. My 18-size, 13-jewel (yes, 13-jewels) 1877 model Waltham R E Robbins hunter cased pocket watch (that did need work) that was otherwise in excellent condition, for $50.00. But I did sell two watches, total $1,400.00. My budget can tolerate such extravagances.

·Buying any more watches. Paying $2K+ for getting a couple of Omegas serviced this year will satisfy my need to blow money on watches.

It's been nearly twelve months since I joined the gym
and still no progress. So I am going there in person
tomorrow to see what the problem is

·I'm not going to buy vintage ebay watches without doing a lot of research first. I have been EXTREMELY lucky so far with three purchases that turned out to at worst have a redial but need to stop doing that...
